A note to our current and past clients regarding COVID-19:
Our country is facing a difficult time with a number of unknowns. What we do know is the health and safety of our employees, clients and guests are our highest priority.
We have been monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak on a consistent basis and are taking steps to deal with the crises, including:
Allowing our team members to work remotely. For several years we have invested and equipped our office with the latest technology allowing any of our office members to access your entire case file securely wherever they may physically be. Any phone call you make to the office can likewise be transferred to one of our office staff. However, we would encourage you to contact us by email during this time, if at all possible. As always, any documents you send via email will be electronically stored in your file on our case management software system.
We are limiting all in-person meetings to those that are absolutely essential. All team members will have the ability to video-conference with any client, witness, expert, etc., and we are strongly encouraging all of you to take advantage of this rather than meet in-person. We will make this entire process easy and seamless and walk you through all the steps, if necessary.
We will be increasing our use of Docusign, a software program allowing you to sign any essential documents remotely. Again, this will allow us to continue moving essential elements of your case forward but limiting in-person interaction.
If you have a case in litigation now, we expect this crisis will likely impact the status of your case, as depositions and meetings are being rescheduled and postponed. We already see Courts across the State begin to close, which means if your case is set for trial in the next several months, it will likely be postponed. Again, we will continue to work hard prosecuting your case but will likely face challenges ahead. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your trust in us. Please stay healthy and safe.
