Street Intersection Accidents

Street intersections pose a number of hazards to motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists. Some intersections may be inherently dangerous because they are poorly designed, lack crosswalks, stop signs, stop lights and/or proper lighting. Often times, drivers who operate recklessly or negligently at these street intersections increase the potential for an injury accident. Some examples of negligent vehicle operation include speeding, failure to yield the right of way and failure to stop for a red light or stop sign.

Regardless of how these street intersection accidents occur, they tend to result in major injuries and damages. Injured victims are left dealing with medical bills and other financial hardships. In such cases, the at-fault parties can be held financially responsible for the injuries, damages and losses caused. Injured victims can seek compensation for damages such as medical expenses, lost income, hospitalization and pain and suffering. An experienced Sacramento car accident attorney can help victims and their families seek maximum compensation for their losses.
